AN INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION at the Grand La 4/24 - 5/1 :
webcam TRACKING TO CONTROL water AND fish
Interaction:
Pinch to get the fish's attention. The fish will darken in color and follow your pinched hand.
You can also see where your hand is via the water path.

It is often instinctive to impose our will on the beautiful, the trivial, and the ephemeral especially in the pursuit of our dreams - but if a fish could speak, would it scream?
This interactive installation uses webcam tracking to call into question how focus and ambition controls our lives.
Emergent behavior at the gallery:
participants began to dance and interact with the fish and water up close, as friends control the interaction from behind the webcam.
